High quality
Bob's Battle Boxes shadow boxes and flag display cases use A-grade mahogany wood that is selected for grain and color. The mahogany is dried to 15 percent moisture content in technically advanced kilns. This prevents later shrinkage of the wood or mildew and ensures an even coloration. The mahogany has a finish of a high quality, nitrocellulose based, quick-drying clear lacquer. Our display areas are covered with Plexiglas to protect your medals and insignia from discoloration or collecting dust.

Easy to place your awards
It’s easy to place your medals and other insignia in our display cases. The back of the display cases is lined with felt for easy mounting of medals and memorabilia. You can use Velcro or double-sided adhesive foam discs commonly found in crafts stores. You can be creative and display photographs and patches. You can select the felt in one of three colors: blue, black, or red. In many of our models, there is sufficient wood space for you to place a customized plate.

Sustainable source of mahogany
Bob's Battle Boxes cares about the environment. The mahogany we use in our products is harvested from grown trees in Southeast Asia plantations. These plantations are government-owned and regulated. They are managed with a strict policy about the size and quantity of trees felled each year, which are replanted and allowed to mature for decades.
