What is a Battle Box you may ask.  Well a Battle Box is a one-of-a-kind custom made box.  Typically no two boxes are exactly identical, they are all hand built by me and even if you order one as pictured, the existing templates are difficult to duplicate exactly the same.  So each order is custom to the indivdual.  Selections of stain and color options are limitless.  These boxes are very time consuming  to build and are rarely built in advance.  Due to existing orders and space in the shop, some boxes could take longer to build.  But if you are looking for a one-of-a-kind time-piece this is the place to go.  Shipping rates would have to be determined after item is built.  If interested  contact me at  info@bobsbattleboxes.com or in evenings at (520) 349-8751.

Display cases such as the ones shown above are also made on a as needed basis.  A case like this would take three weeks to build.  Cost would start at  approx. $275.00 for a one color stained box to $475 depending on complexity.  The smaller version with the flag showing through the star has 115 angled cuts per box not to include 62 rounded over edges and numerous hidden buscuit cuts.  To order you must contact us at (520) 349-8751.  Time frame is based on a space availabilty.

Typical square or rectangular boxes can be produced in about a week.  Usually we use red oak and stain to color choice.  However, exotic wood can be used at an additional cost.  This also may delay production time depending on the availability of the wood.  Prices vary depending on size, wood and how fast it is needed.  They start from $125 and go up from there.  Please call us at (520) 349-8751 for an estimate. 

Although a box such as this may not initially look as complex as some of the others, it took as much time planing and preparing.  This box was built for Thomas Johnson, a former U.S. Marine, Purple Heart recipient, CIA Air Crew member, and Smoke Jumper.  The difficulty comes when you try to capture all this in one display.  The box was built with a very hard purple heart wood.  Then on the the trim I used white oak and etched glass to display the letters USMC and CIA.  Then each item was placed in to depict all the areas of significance.  A box this complex would have to be determined upon design.  This box was $700 and cost over $250 to ship from Arizona to Idaho.
